Description[]
Mel Gibson is LA cop Martin Riggs; reckless, relentless and lethal. His Vietnam training and sub-zero flashpoint are a volatile combination for a man with such chilling credentials. Recently widowed, Riggs is a time-bomb waiting to explode. The only question is who will he take with him?
Riggs' new partner Roger Murtaugh fears he knows the answer. . . Mel Gibson and Danny Glover's unlikely partnership takes cop thrillers into a new dimension.
Lethal Weapon's hairtrigger excitement and stunning setpieces perfectly frame the Gibson/Glover relationship so that the film will not only be remembered as a superb thriller but also as one of the great buddy-buddy movies.
